9:00 am - Port Royal Primary School - AVSF Director, Michael Fox and Kim Ball, R.N., Dept of Health, will make a presentation on HIV/AIDS to students at Port Royal.

10:00 am - House of Assembly - Members of WAD Committee and the public are invited to attend the House of Assembly to hear the reading of the Ministerial Statement on HIV/AIDS and World AIDS Day.

11:30 am - PRESS CONFERENCE  - to be held in the House of Assembly Library.

1:30 pm - The People's Show - Michael Fox, AVSF, and Kim Ball R.N., Dept of Health, will be guests on the popular radio programme hosted by Everest DeCosta.

9:00 pm (Bermuda Time) Belize Radio - Michael Fox, as a Board Member of CRN+,  will make a guest appearance on Belize Radio (Central America) speaking about persons living with HIV in the Caribbean

Monday, December 1, 2003

1:00 pm - Camden Grounds - The Proclamation Ceremony will be held surrounding the Memorial HIV/AIDS Tree. The Minister of Health & Family Services, the Hon. Mrs. Patrice Minors, will read the 2003 Proclamation, with comments from the Shadow Minister of Health & Family Services. The Bermuda AIDS Quilt will be on display along with what is reputed to be the largest single blanket, measuring an estimated 400 sq. ft., made by a Bermudian PLWHA (Person Living With HIV/AIDS).

1:00 pm - Bermuda College -  Students will conduct a simultaneous event on the campus grounds. Contact Evelyn James-Barnett at 236-9000 for more information.

7:00 pm - Ecumenical Service - Bermuda Anglican Cathedral. Members of the public are invited to attend the annual memorial service to honour persons living with HIV and to remember those who have died. The Bermuda AIDS Quilt and Blanket will be on display. Tee-shirts will also be available at the end of the service.
